Hanna Sarén actually started out as a shoe designer, and only later ventured into clothing design. She made headlines when 'shoe freak' Carrie, on the hugely popular TV show Sex and the City, was seen wearing a pair shoes she had designed. The rest is history.
One of Finland's first independent boutique labels, Hanna Sarén today exports almost 70% of her company's production.
